5 Ways To Help Make Your Walt Disney World Vacation A Huge Success

1.       Use an experienced Disney travel agent to book your visit
This may seem self-serving, but it really does make a difference to use a travel agent who specializes in Disney destinations to help you book your vacation. I offer my services and experience to you at no cost. I can help you plan which park to visit on each day of your vacation to help you avoid where the largest crowds will be. I can also help you plan which attractions to visit first at each park to help you avoid long lines. I can also offer recommendations for the best restaurants at Walt Disney World and get Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) for you at those restaurants. (Did I mention my services are free?!)

2.       Get to the parks early
I know, you are on a vacation – you want to sleep in. But if you sleep in on a Disney World vacation, you will have to deal with large crowds. To make it a better experience and less stressful vacation, you really need to wake up and get to the parks 15 – 30 minutes before they open. It is a very small price to pay for what you get in return. Besides, you will have time to rest after lunch.

3.       Take an afternoon break
This is an absolute must if you have children under the age of 8 with you. But this is still highly recommended for all ages – especially in the summer. Since you woke up early to get to the parks and experience more attractions before lunch than most people do all day, this is part of your reward. After eating lunch (be it at a restaurant I made an ADR for you or just getting counter service at the park or your resort) go back to your room and take a nap. Or just relax and watch TV. Or go for a swim at your resort pool. After a few hours, take a nice cool shower to freshen up for more park touring and dinner.

4.       Back to the parks for more fun after a break
Depending on when you leave your resort from your afternoon break, head out to the park for more fun or head off to your dinner ADR for a nice meal.

5.       Evening entertainment
Disney has wonderful fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom (Wishes), Epcot (Illuminations), and Hollywood Studios (Fantasmic!) Magic Kingdom has a great nighttime parade to take in. Be sure to see these to experience all the magic Disney has to offer. Also be sure to ride any attractions you missed earlier in the day or the ones you want to experience again. Since your kids (and you) took a nap during the day, you all should be ready for handling a late night enjoying all the nighttime fun.
